Back to Church Sunday – Sept 17
FBC invites you and your family to come join our Back to Church Sunday, Sept. 17 activities. Sunday School groups begin at 9:30am and worship service begins at 10:45am. No matter if you have been to church or not, we invite you to join us. We also invite you to join our Back to Church Picnic, Sept 17 at Noon. Hot dogs and hamburgers will be provided as the main course of this picnic. Individuals are asked to bring a side dish or dessert. Families are asked to bring one side and one dessert. Everything else will be provided. Bring someone and plan to join us for a fun filled picnic, food and time of fellowship. If you have any questions please contact the church office at 660.259.3915.
Wednesday Night Activities
FBC is excited to host our Fall semester of adult Bible studies and children’s activities, each Wednesday, evening starting at 6:15pm. Our children involved with our Girls In Action (GA’s), Royal Ambassadors (RA’s), Children In Action (CIA’s) and Kids for Christ (KFC) will rally from 6:15pm to 7:15pm weekly. The Women’s Bible study group led by Penny Rich will continue a study entitled, “Becoming Heart Sisters,” by Natalie Chambers Snapp. Our adult Wednesday Night group will explore the book of Philippians led by Pastor Paul Temple. FBC Bible Study Groups
NEW Adult Bible Study groups – will kick-off Sunday, Sept 3, 2017 at 9:30am at the First Baptist Church. This study entitled, “Disciples Path – The Journey,” will take an intentional 4-part approach to understanding what being a growing Christian is all about. This study is FREE and for all ages. No matter if you have been involved in a study group or not, you are welcomed to join these two new groups.

Thursday Night Women’s Bible Study Group – we invite you to join our Thursday Night Women’s Bible study group as our FBC women begin a new study, Thursday, Sept 7 at 8:00pm. This group will begin a new study entitled, “5 Habits of a Women Who Doesn’t Quit.” Our FBC Women’s Ministry group hosts this study at various homes so please contact Amy Streicher for the latest information. Our women are excited to have you join them for this exciting and encouraging study experience on Thursday nights. Please contact the church office, 660.259.3915 for the additional information.
Men’s Bible Study & Breakfast – What is a Kingdom Man? How can I Become a Kingdom Man? Do I want to be a Kingdom Man?
The answers to these questions will be explored at our next monthly Men’s Breakfast, Sunday Sept. 10 at 7:30am in the Fellowship Hall. Come join us for a light breakfast and a Bible study video series written by Dr. Tony Evans.
All men are welcome at no cost, so come and bring a friend or neighbor. You will be enriched by the fellowship and this time of study in God’s Word led by “Doc” Dave Rich. If you have any questions or for more information please contact “Doc” Dave at 259-6218.
